Help with Subwoofer installation!! Power cable routing?!

Hi All,

My car: Audi A3 8p 2004 1.9 tdi (3 door)

Going to install a new sub in the boot. Need some help finding a way of running a power cable from the battery through to the boot.

I've taken the glovebox off and had a good long inspect to see if i can find any gromets but couldn't see any! Had a look under the bonnet near the battery as well and can't see any way of routing the power cable through? so far seen some thick cable near the top that run through to the wiper area where there is a see-through grill. But can't access it because its all one huge piece that is sealed to the windscreen. Thats about it

Will i need to remove the battery and battery casing in order to get a clearer view? Anyone got any pics or ideas? Searched forums for hours and couldnt find anything that related to my cars layout?:S

Try feeding it through the passenger wing ? That's what I've done to mine since I couldn't find any sort of gromet it feed the wire through.

Passenger wing? could you show me a pic. I don't think it would be possible or a good idea to do that...
