I believe this is quite common on these? Would fitting a amplified aerial thingy help?

One of these -

Which leads me to my next question, is there a live I can use behind the standard head unit? I had a quick check with a live tester and couldn't find anything?

There is a constant 12v at the factory harness, but not an ignition switched 12v (turn on signal comes from CAN bus.) The factory aerial is amplified though, I don't think adding a second amplifier in line will help much. There is an aerial junction box in the hatch, accessible by removing the plastic interior panel. Check if you're getting power to the junction box.

Mine always had decent reception. If everything is standard, something's not working properly.

Yeah I get that. I cant track the issue yet though so just clutching at straws really.

Ok thanks. Do you know if there's any guides about?

I had bad reception from my radio! It turned out to be the rear wash wipe leaking onto the amplifier located in the tailgate.

Sound job, thanks. So is it below the window or above?

Hi last night I noticed that 2 of my radio stations on my radio are not working, since I've had the car there hasn't been any problems with the radio signal

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Thank you

More than like it's atmospheric conditions much like you find your TV reception can be interrupted when there's storms etc. Especially with Satellite Tv like Sky. I wouldn't worry.

If you lost all your stations then perhaps its a fault with the equipment, but the odd station, naaa its the weather!
