acc is fab - best feature ever for our crowded motorways. Lane assist is crap - keeps dropping out (at least at night) couldn't see any cornering lights - do I need to activate them?! Main beam assist generally works well too

Not had any issues with lane assist dropping out at night. Cornering lights aren't the fog lights. There are dedicated bulbs angled on the side of each headlight cluster. I think they only operate as Cornering lights at low speed such as when parking. Quite helpful in dark car parks

It's lane assist that drops out. Don't think I have any front fog lights?

Lane assist drops out when you are on straight bits of road and it thinks you aren't steering, but not ever had it drop out just because it's night. The camera is very sensitive.

My wife loves the ACC. It works really well for her. She tells me that it works really well on her commute. Especially on the dual carriage way. Though she does not like it in town. I'm still undecided.

Which car do you have? Sline's do not come with static cornering lights as standard. It is really obvious when they activate on our car.

Which I have..
Well if you have the Plus option - after dark, sit in your car and turn the steering wheel. The car does not have to be moving. The fog lights must be off. I did this in the garage and could clearly see the yellow light appear beside the whiter Xenon light.

Note: if you do this in your garage, make sure you leave the wheels straight. Common sense, not that common. :)
