milage

hi all, my a4 b6 1.9tdi avf engine has just clocked over 159k still runs sweet as the day I brought it and pulls like a train also returns 64mpg on the motorway im just wondering if anyone else is high milage and anything too look out for breaking etc ???

it recently had full service, filled her up with v-power and a slash of redex too it for a good run to clean any old depoists out any thing else I should be treating???

All B6's are high now as they are old cars, mines on 160k i do know of lots with 180k plus

It's another cleaner like your RedEx although if your looking for maintinance tasks I'd say your better off getting it on vag-com and fixing anything it flags up, cleaning the manifold & egr plus replacing any worn suspension components.

Ooh, these are always fun. Mine is 183k, and it's a 1.9tdi. Had it for about 50k miles now and it's been almost perfect. Had the most yesterday and had an advisory on low brake pads and tyres. Can't complain at that!

As above, vcds and a ton of reading. They're fairly bullet proof if looked after.

175k - 2002 2.5TDi Quattro.
Replaced a lot of things on this engine!
Had the belts off twice in 60,000 miles (worn camshafts, seized waterpump) - alternator.etc
I have a folder of receipts totalling around £6k for parts during my 2 1/2 years of ownership.
