Can anyone pleaaaaaase help I'm pulling my hair out!

Why are my air vents hot on the drivers side and cold on the passenger side?

Does anyone have a drawing of the air vent system all the parts that are involved?
Ive spoke to audi and there useless I'm more technical then there entire technical team!

Something somewhere isn't letting warm air into the passenger side I've stripped my glove box out and sat nav unit and when i change the temperatures i can see and hear motors all moving nothing seems jammed or anything. Is there any fuses for this or anything?

Has anyone had the same issues on here?

Could it be an air lock in your water system, as its the water / anti freeze solution that heats the air and if there is an air pocket it might be blocking circulation to one of the heat ex-changers.

If I am talking a load of bull then please someone put me right.

Ive drained my system and refilled it and still the same mate

Ha so I do make some sence, do you have mono or dual zone

Dual Zone so each side can be controlled, but no matter if there both on hi the passenger side still blows cold... Why oh why its got to be something i just can't figure out what!

electronic valve where heater matrix is sure ive seen it on etka before system is split into 2 parts

would this not show up on VCDS? could it be faulty controls, shows hi temp but dose not do anything.

No the controls work like i said I've taken the glove box and sat nav unit out to see all the mechanics behind and when i adjust the temperature all the motors move but no temperature change at all.

the motors are just directing air? they don't control temp, that between the control unit (controls) and the heat ex-changers?

I would get a temp / replacement controls that you know work and give it a test.

try up above the clutch pedal you will see a yellow lever, remove the motor attached to it(3 bolts)then operate the lever by hand, you should then get heat

Hi sorry for late reply have been away yes i will have a look tomorrow at this yellow lever, going back to these 2 control valves are they deep within the engine to have a look at?
