Hi

I know brake upgrades get talked about a lot but does anyone know if 320mm brakes off a b8 will bolt straight on to a b6 obviously calipers, carriers and discs required as a minimum.

Thanks

Not sure if the hubs are similar on the b8's like they are b6 to b7. Depends on the offset of the discs and calipers I guess. I went for b6 s4 brakes on my avant

I've just fitted S5 brakes to mine, which as the same calipers as the B8 S4, running them with B6 S4 345mm discs

So it looks like the calipers will fit OK,The B8 discs won't as the centre bore on a B8 is 66.5 mm against the 57.1 of the B6 so the disc design will be different.Good to see you have managed to squeeze them under 17 inch rims as I do on my car.

You can get 320mm brakes from B7s (2.0Tfsi, 3.0tdi). I've heard the calipers are the same as the S4/RS4 ones, but the carriers are different (smaller).
320mm discs will fit 16" no prob, but not 15".

Yeah b6 discs work fine on mine

Got a better pic now
