had it just about a year now, no major issues..... 2 gearboxes, new suspension, brakes, intercoolers, torque convertor, only about 15k of repairs... I've been very lucky to get a good one!

lol.... not all in one year... that's what the car has had since day 1.

all those issues are well known and documented... hence why I don't call them major issues!

I have spent a bit on it too... but that's tuning and go faster goodies :D

oh, please don't go to Audi with this car!

the car has chains, mine only has 80k miles so not replaced them... had the tensioners done to help with the "bag 'o spanners" start up rattle... which because the engine was already out didn't cost much - £40 for the parts I think...

water pump and thermostat was only £280.. and if your car is anywhere near 80k get the alternator replaced... they tend to go about that mileage for some reason... £300 ish

@ WOLF... yeah it's a small price to pay for the beast... on a good day, running right, there isn't much that can touch it... especially 4 up with luggage... ;)

I'm the wrong guy for that, I stay in glasgow and I take mine to MRC Tuning in Banbury.

700 odd mile round trip, but worth every penny to be sure everything is tip top.

Amazing motor but I would be getting rid of those wheels ASAP. Totally takes away from the car IMO. Get some genuine RS6 wheels on there!
