Boost and then no boost

Hi guys. my 2003 S3 (BAM) is giving me a headache. sometime its boosting and going very well and then sometimes it is not. I have done a boost leak test and found and fixed 2 leaks. afterwords the car went really well. but the next day it went well for a while and then its as if it runs out of puff. sometimes it boosts and then it doesent.

what could this be.

I have got an brand new audi s3(8p) n75 valve that im getting tomorrow for nothing. can i test this?

N75 valve for the 8P is a different valve and fitment... potentially it will alter the way the boost is delivered and could cause more problems than you are trying to solve... stick to the N75 you have unless there is compelling evidence to replace it in which case replace like for like

Any fault codes? sounds like a soft limp scenario... whats causing it could be a number of things but fault codes first then arguably some logging may be needed..

Could be the actuator has a issue. Or cracked housing/waste gate port.

Just a few ideas..really needs fault code reading and a look over by a specialist.
