Right guys, I've been posting comments all over the place on here, asking various questions etc.

I've made an appointment with Maidstone Audi this afternoon to go and seal the deal on a new A3. Got all the finance quotes with a 10% discount. I want this done before tomorrows 2.2% increase!!

At this stage can I get any more bits thrown in?

This is the spec:

Ask if you can add more stuff to it now and if you decide you don't want it can you remove it later?
This will save you the 2% increase if you decide you want to keep it.

Reversing Camera? Since you already specced the Parking system plus (could always remove it later? lol)

Yep, i'll ask that.

Do I ask about ipod/iphone cables and any other little bits at this stage?

ORDERED! I'm buzzing

Estimated delivery date 10/12/2014. What build week does that make me? :)

So easy to complete the deal as all the negotiating is done through Carwow and the Finance had already been agreed.

Time to sell on my pride and joy, i'll be sad to see it go. It's in the classifieds if anyone is interested. Would love to see it go to an ASN member :)

Great news, Nice Christmas present.
Have you thought about waiting till Jan 1 to get it registered? Make it a 2015 car when ever you come to sell it. Those few days will add around £500
to its value.

Nice idea that, hadn't thought of asking but I will now as I'm in no rush to get it.

How would you advise I ask? Don't most car places want to get shot of the car ASAP to get it off there premises so they aren't holding too much stock? How would the rest of the deposit work, should I offer to pay this when the car arrives or wait until January as well? I'm sure they would be more inclined to do it if paid my deposit when it arrives than in January?

Do you know what build week I am from the date I've given? I've never paid much attention to build weeks etc.

I am sure Jan 1st does not render it on a '15 plate. (registered 2015 car maybe)
He would have to wait until March 2015 for it to be the '15 reg.

I'm pretty this is what steeve meant mate. It won't be a 15 reg but it will go down on the V5 as a 2015 registered car so when I eventually go to sell it will be a little bit more desirable and possibly add a bit of value.

I understand. I would say take delivery ASAP and drive.
You chose a great spec, why wait!

I think you will have your sportsback built before my Saloon which will be registered as '15 plate. The build time should be shorter.

How can I find out the build week? From the dealer?

My estimated delivery date is 10/12/2014

Yes Mike, I did end up mentioning that you had put a good word in for her and your Dealership on this forum. She seemed quite pleased about that :)

Thanks for asking re: Build Week, although I have asked Donna as well but not had a response as yet. She's also agreed to register the car in January for me so it'll be 2015 registered so I'm very happy. It also gives me a little bit more time to sell my current A3.

Smart colour and great spec but you missed rails and led headlights lol!

Donna, said she had emailed when I asked, hope you're build week doesn't move, as sometimes they can slip.
January reg gives something to look forward too.

Of course it will be a 64 plate whether or not its December 14 or Jan 15. But when you come to sell it it's either a 2014 or a 2015 car. So as a 2015 its worth more. Simples.
I have been in this situation exactly and it will fetch more for the sake of a week or so. Your choice....
