Collected my new to me S-Line SB today. Just one small problem that I never noticed when we went for a test drive. The silver inlay on the drivers door has some small dents in it from what looks like the seatbelt.

Can you get a replacement inlay and is it something I could do myself?

Apart from this it's a perfect car and I'm enjoying it

Thanks Phil

Mine has a small dent in the same place on both sides. I don't think it's the seatbelt

Hi Scott my drivers side is very badly dented. Can't be leave I never noticed. It's the only thing that bothers me with the car. I think it's down to my OCD

Mention it to the sales guys mate, maybe do you a deal on a replacement, maybe fit it for you FOC? worth a punt.

Would just kick off (but in a nice way!) and ask for it to be replaced FOC.
The phrase "doubt I'll buy another car from you if we can't resolve this" tends to work wonders.......:audibash:

Went to the dealers last night. The sales man was mortified that the car had left the dealership with crooked rear number plate and that the trim had not been replaced.
It's going back next Friday to be sorted. So I'm more than happy with the service

Hope everyone who has now notice this can get it sorted by the dealership.

Thanks for heads up, I will definitely pay close attention to this when we pick up our car in the next 2 weeks or so.

Why did he not notice at hand over!

Why did he not notice at hand over!

In all fairness it's difficult to capture everything on handover, I always notice stuff in the few days after or on the first wash, that includes my S1, picked it up brand new & the day after I noticed a gouge in the bumper under the paint & clear coat.

Caught up in the moment I guess, but most main dealers should help whether its new or used as they don't want the negative feedback & used car law is stronger than ever now in the consumers favour.
