cilurnum, you've made you're opinions clear far too many times on this thread and you're now starting to get offensive.

Please give us a rest, we can all make up our own minds what to believe, or not.

His average speed is quite clearly 24mph, for those of you who've seen a Ford trip before. That's not an opinion, it's there in blue and white and I'm not the one claiming ridiculous figures and then having a go at someone for questioning them.

What I was questioning was your accusation that he'd gone out and recorded a high average MPG readout off the back of this thread, simply to support his argument with you. The picture is from his old car.

My commute is mostly A/B roads at 45-55mph, but thanks to a couple of sets of lights and roundabouts my trip average is way down in the low 30s. Doesn't mean I only drive around the block.

Let's just say, last time I filled up, it was at an old place in the countryside with attended service. The pump attendant asked me to switch the engine off because he couldn't keep up. :encouragement:
