Dear All Audi lovers

Hunting problem ( Revs up and down )
I had already change PCV Valve , Breathing valve , Brand New throttle Body ... Reset and aligment done
Still plays Up .... but it wont plays up everytime I drive the car ...
I search some of the thread on the site but cant find a solution as well

Mine had a similar sort of problem a while back,and it turned out to be the throttle body load correction factor was incorrect,but a new TB cured that.

We also uncovered a raft of minor problems,including knackered thermostat,dirty MAF,failing MAP sensor and lambda probe.

It may come down to swapping out sensors until you find the offender.

first thing to do would be to find someone with a vcds cable and get the codes read.

if i was to guess i would say you will get 008213 intake manifold flap position sensor come up.

Had exactly the same issue as you and replaced the PCV and TB without fixing the issue, had the codes read and this is what came up. Have it booked in on Thursday at a specialist to see whats going on.

Thanks for everyone reply , I had booked on Thursday , hopefully I can get something..
yesterday Engine light went on and then went off the today.....
 
no, waiting on the garage to look at it thursday and let me know what the issue is
 
Got my car back yesterday from work shop ! Found out the problem! FINALY!! , it was the carbon canister got a hole and is leaking... Replace a OEM one from Audi . now work perfectly fine! runs good again
but still need to test drive few more days . Finger Cross !

How about you Lukehh?

Any idea how to test if the carbon canister is leaking?

I had the same hunting problem over the weekend, its only happened one +-20 minute drive but i suspect it will happen again at some point.
