Fitting HID high beam

Evening all

Looking for some help thinking of fitting HID lights to my high beam. Not someone once told me it kill the windscreen wiper motor is this right.

only on the 8p chassis does it blow the motor, as far as i know anyway

You can't just fit any old HID bulb setup due to the startup delay... I also believe that converting a halogen light (even if its part of an existing HID based headlight) is illegal in the UK as the light unit has to meet certain requirements... not sure how this affects main beam exactly...

You would also need to wire them using a relay to ensure you don't over tax the existing wiring
