Seriously Confused - S3 Bumper Conversion

Right, i have a 55 plate sline a3.

what s3 bumper is a straight swap, what year to and from? - bumper and grille only (no bonnet, wings, lights etc needed

i've seen about facelift preface etc but the more i look into it the more im getting confused

06-58 S3 bumper is a straight swap athough you might have to cut the crash bar slightly if its too big...

A3/S3s were facelifted in late 2008 and thats the version that required the full front end from your model...
 
only realised the other day that the s3 front bumper on the facelift model is quite different to the sline one . fog grills ,bottom of bumper on skirt flares out more on sides etc ,now looking for one
 
brilliant cheers mate, so when people talk about prefacelift, they talking about 06-58 plate a3/s3
09 onwards is facelft.

so basically need to find a s3 bumper between 06 and 58. thanks mate

You'll need a bumper with a grille... The prefacelift S3 grille is a different size to any other prefacelift A3... Its slightly smaller
 
there still ****** exspensive lol
was going to smooth the a3 s line but nothing to really smooth haha
 
Am I right in saying that your s-line bumper would fit my 54 reg a3 with the split grill if I swapped the bonnet? If so are you selling your bumper
