Considered polishing your exhaust tips? Autosol, wire wool, and a microfibre for polishing them, all under £10 and 20 mins, come up brand new!

Car looks great btw. How easy were the brakes to fit? Someone offered me some 993 calipers recently but I didn't see the point given my power.

I'm going to a cat back system soon so I'm not too bothered. Brakes are very easy to do and well worth it, miles better than the standard 288s

Nice, how did you refurbish the S3 anti rattle clip

Oh ok, I'm gonna try spray mine with silver paint and try out the eBay S3 vinyl.

I'd be interested in the price as mine could do with replacing for some fresh ones. Also did you just use calliper paint for the callipers?

Also which Vmaxx kit have you got and how far wound down are they?

Thanks

think I paid around £25-30 each! , i spent £98 in total getting the 2 clips, new hard pipes and bracket and a few bolts. i haven't got the part number to hand as I'm at work sorry.
they are the non dampening adjustable ones wound all the way ( bump stops still in too).

currently looking for new wheels so message me if you have anything to offer, OEM if possible.

Brilliant thanks - I know which ones you mean. Think I might go for the adjustable dampening but just not sure if they're low enough

I would go for AP or APEX as the v-maxx I have are fairly stiff for my liking. If I find some 50mm H&R springs then my coils will be for sale.

Looks smart and exactly how a Sportback should look IMO.

LED rear lights on the list to do?

Looking good mate. How much were the s3 brakes?

I paid £150 for callipers and carriers, £100 for discs £35 for pads , £90 for new s3 clips and hard brake lines and others bit that where tatty. £40 for brake lines. so £412 all together but are pretty much new now.

That's pretty good

really thinking of changing the coilovers for H&R 50mm spring as they are a little stiff for me.

Love the brakes. Great job on returbing them too. I would end up making them worse!

I like the ride hight but I'm not to bothered.

Cheers man, it's not too hard honestly, lick of paint and a few new parts.

New wheels will get a better picture as soon as it stops snowing and raining.
