Hi Guys,

Since I live in Australia shipping costs from the UK are brutal, so I am looking to purchase everything that I will need (for a while) at once.

My shopping list so far includes:

Liquid Gauge
Ferodo DS Performance front pads
Vibratechnics left and right hand side engine mount
Airtec Intercooler kit

Additional items I want to add:

Suspension bushes kit - what is the difference between these two? Do I want/need the alignment adjustment kit?
a) Superpro F&R Front & Rear Suspension Bush Kit (Alignment Adjustment Kit) - S3 & Quattro (8L) 1999
or
b) Superpro F&R Front & Rear Suspension Bush Kit - S3 & Quattro (8L) 1999

Coilovers
There are three within the price range I'm willing to spend, can anyone vouch or offer feedback on any of these?
V-Maxx coilover kit
V-Maxx Xxtreme coilover kit
AP coilovers

Car wont be seeing much track work but I like a sporty ride for the street.

Thanks guys much appreciated! Not excited to see how much this will all cost, but very excited to get it all! One additional thing I would like is a new downpipe, but I don't want a de-cat and I don't feel like spending 500 pounds on it, so that is one thing that will have to wait!

What I want help with is the suspension bushes and coilovers, I'm going to be purchasing the rest, and I'm happy with awesomegti's prices

the adjustable bush kit has things like caster/camber adjusting bushes,so if you want the extra adjustment to get your alignment how you want get them. It means a little more thought and work in fitting them and more setup by your alignment place.

i have AP coilovers,i think theyre great for the money. Don't think ive heard or read a bad thing over the years.

Thanks for that! I doubt I will go with the adjustable bushes as it seems like just another thing to worry about that I don't fully understand.

Can you please confirm these are the same AP coilovers you got? I'm not after the best handling car in the world, just something with adjustable height and a nice firm ride without being over the top!

Since I plan on buying quite a lot from awesomegti, do you think I am any chance to ask them for a discount? If anyone has delt with them before. I know the best way to find out will be to ask them myself but if anyone has heard of people getting discounts before it would be great if you could chime in!

you don't ask you don't get, with a large order like that in sure theyl be kind enough to give you a small %, especially given where you are and postage cost.

they are the same coilies i have yes.
my only criticism is that you see the black and blue adjusters in the top of the photo, you wont get very low at all fitting them, i and many others remove them completely. Makes no difference to the springs and ride tho.

Would you get any lower than standard with the blue adjusters? Thanks for the heads up on that. After what you have said I think I will go down that path.

Thought I would update my progress for others who may read this thread. Awesomegti have been great to deal with and have helped me out with the shipping and import costs
