Hi Everyone,
I have been browsing Audi-Sport as a guest for a while now whilst deciding on a new car. I've previously owned a Mk4 Golf, BMW 325ci, and Audi TT (180). As of this evening, I'm the proud new owner of a Audi A4 B6 Avant.
I lived abroad in New Zealand for the past year and owned my first Audi over there. After returning home in August of this year I decided I needed something cheap and economical for a while to save the pennies and buy another fun car! I found my Avant on eBay over the weekend and collected it this evening.
It's the 1.9 tdi (130) engine, black paintwork and black interior, it's exactly what I was looking for. It's had 2 owners from new, full Audi service history and a decent mileage for the year. It came with 1 years MOT and 6 months tax so I'm good to go.
My initial plan was to keep it for 6 months to "potter" around in whilst saving, however after driving it home this evening, I think it will end up staying longer! The B6 was one of my personal favorite shapes for the A4 and has been a bucket list car for a while.
I'll throw up a build thread of some description as the modding begins this weekend! In the meantime, I'll probably just look at everyone else's cars for inspiration and hopefully meet some great Audi fans!
