where did you get it from linky???
looks great

Yeah some shots further away would be good to get perspective of what it looks like.

Does he have any more for sale, clicked link just a single listing :(

How have you got the shortened plate on there? Did you shorten the plate holder or use another method ??

Looking good dude, this is on my list of things to do to my A3. Did you fit it yourself? Have any bother?

Was it hard to fit? Really considering this after seeing yours! Do you think it'll fit into mine? It's a 2003 3door sport, it has an s line front at the minute though..

Can you still buy this grill and was it a straight swap. I have the exact same car in same colour and that looks amazing

Do you have a link to buy it as that eBay link no longer exists

Did any company ever get round to making an RS3 style grill for a pre 2008 S3? Last time I looked, there was much controversy over it.

Has any one got any more pictures of the rep Rs3 grill fitted to the pre facelift?

Looks really good!
Makes me wonder if trimming the bottom of one of these down to fit a pre-facelift s3 would be possible, I believe they are about an inch deeper, then fit my standard surround...

I don't think a direct replacement grille (RS3 style) was ever made to suit the pre facelift S3.

If anyone knows otherwise, I'd be delighted! :)

Hi guys, just thought I'd add that I fitted on to my sportback yesterday and worth every penny! Only thing I wasn't fond of was the badge holder so machined it out at work to look better!

Completely changed the front end!

Only thing I want to figure out now is how to mount my plate without ruining the look with a holder, and want to be able to remove as and when!

With my plate holder, I cut the ends and just used about 2" of it on each side, cut the screw in part of the rear into two, can unscrew it from the back by reaching under the bumper from underneath. Also I lowered the profile of the holder too, so it sits a lot closer to the mesh

What did you use to trim your badge holder? I've been wanting to do mine for ages but didn't know how to do it.

So you cut the two finished ends off and used just them with nothing in between! Then cut into the tabs to allow it to go further into the mesh part of the grill?

I started by marking out where the chrome rings will be!

Then I drilled loads of holes inside the lines!

I then used a dremel to cut out the centres and finished them with a needle file!
