As a result of an email to Audi Customer Services asking how I can change my Facebook login to a different account, I had a ludicrous phone call from them yesterday. Once I had explained (again) what I was trying to do the guy said the Audi Connect Helpline would need to "refresh the settings". He then couldn't find their number and called me back to say that there was no such number or Helpline! So I repeated my question and he kept saying that you can only have one Facebook account. I said I fully understood that but what would happen for example if I sold my car - the next owner would need a new login. So then he said that I should go to my dealer to get it "refreshed" but I explained that it is not a car thing but a computer (my.audi.com) issue.

I got nowhere. I hate being fobbed off by people spouting b******t but I think I'll now accept defeat.

Audi Customer Service (and most Sales people at Dealers) are the worst people to ask anything vaguely technical.

I have yet to have the joy of using connect as my car is not here yet, but are Facebook and Twitter not just widgets in the My.Audi system. There should be a way to delete and then reinstall or to reset as it is accessing FB by the same means as others and that is via a third party app. Look at your access allowances in the account you want to stop using for the Audi connect third party app and try deleting that?

I would try the following:

From a PC:
1. Login to myAudi
2. Select your car
3. Click on "Details and Equipment" tab
3. Copy the VIN number
4. Go to Profiles > All Vehicles
5. Click the "Edit" button, this produces an X next to the car, click the X and then click "Delete Vehicle"
6. Logout from myAudi
7. Register a new account with a different email address
8. Add a Vehicle and Paste your VIN number
9. Setup Facebook
10. Make a note of the new PIN number

Then in the Car:
1. Click on Menu > Audi Connect
2. Scroll down and select "Logout"
3. Select "Login" and enter the new PIN
4. Voila (hopefully...)

I haven't tried this exact process but I just deleted my car from myAudi and then added it back in. When I did the car process above and entered the new PIN everything in the car works.

Thanks Jason - I'll have a go next week when I've got nothing to do.
