Audi Connect With Tech Pack..... E Mails & Texts

I was driving to the Girlfriends yesterday and as per the norm.. I received a text from her asking what time I would be arriving.
I know I get the texts from the phone on the Screen and I know I can't answer from the car, but I have never seen my (from the phone) e-mails on the MMI screen.

Anyone else get there e mails on there MMI Screen? Audi Connect, Tech Pack and iPhone 5S.




 
My HTC one M8 receives Email and SMS and can answer since last update
 
27 e mails came in this morning while driving into work..... this time none of them showed up?????

When I select TEL, there is an option on the menu says messages, I select that and it sows me emails and texts from my phone. There is also an envelope type icon which comes up on the MMI next to the Bluetooth and signal icons which shows me when a message has arrived. I also get a beep over the speakers when this happens. That's how.
 
Oh, and yes, can answer those messages too . Haven't even bother trying yet (prob won't)
 
Mine shows (and can answer) messages, but not emails. Quite glad of that, wouldn't want to get spam as I'm driving along!
 
For some reason I can't edit the main subject or any of my posts on this..... but I meant to put the fact I have iPhone 5S. My emails are only intermittently displayed for some reason.

you actually never receive an alert that you received a new Email, they are just in a folder and you can read them.
I receive the letter symbol and a bip when I receive sms
 
Ah, maybe I do then, I'll have to have a play later!
 
I receive an alert that I have have new email/text via an audible beep over the sound system and an icon on the MMI
 
I have a 4s, although am awaiting an i phone 6 to be delivered. How do you get the texts to appear? I had no idea e mails could appear either, how is that done!!!????
 
Right guys, play nice, I have tidied the thread for now, anymore swearing or name calling, and I will issue warnings followed by a ban!:angrymod:

It's easy to hide behind a keyboard like it is behind a steering wheel. Let's hope they don't drive like they type...
