has anyone else had a problem with their rear wiper? Mine barely spouts out the screen wash and has stopped right in the middle and wont move anymore.

Any ideas? :meeting:before I go and pay for diagnosis to see what it is

I believe the rear wiper motor and screen wash pump are a common problem on the 8P. I think the screen wash forms a leak that does damage to the motor. Mine was replaced just before I bought the car on 109k. The boot panel is relatively easy to pop off if you want to have a look. I think this is the part you would need to replace: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A3-S...ts=Car+Make:Audi|Model:A3&hash=item4601b173a1
Hope this helps! :)

When i bought my car the rear wiper wash didn't work either, i just took off the plastic cover and there is a little plastic part and a bolt if i remember correctly, take them off then try to squirt the window wash, if it works fine then its just clogged. Give that a shot first, worked a treat for me.

The wiper stopping in the middle is typical, keep an eye out for A3s with this and you'll see loads. Rear wiper motor replacement is the only fix co sit will have corroded some tracks inside.

When i bought my A3 the rear wiper was also not working.

I ended up removing the motor and putting a blanker in (rear wipe deleted :D)

Same on my s3 the rear wiper is a joke on the 8ps

Mine was duff on mine, straight in the bin and replaced with a glass blank!

Mine also decided to stop in the middle of the window. I managed to get it moving again and when it was back in the correct place I removed the fuse. This will do for me until I decide wither to replace it or just remove it and blank it.

Re the blocking remove the cap and then pull of the twin squirter.Use very fine wire and clean out the two jets, simples
