I was crashed into last friday and my car (2004 audi a3 fsi) took a little bit of damage. New rear bumper,boot,exhaust. Panel behind bumper damaged amd a crease in the boot floor. Im waiting to see if they are going to write it off. I recon its worth 4k max,what do people recon?? I'll be gutted if its written off

Almost certain they will write it off, it's ten years old & they will probably value it a lot less than your valuation

Insurance writes everything off, could either tell them your sorting it yourself and fund this, buy it off them (and they will put it down as cat c/d) or let it go and take the rubbish undervalued price they say it's worth (and they'll fix it themselves and sell it on without declaring cat c/d or they'll break it... cheeky buggers). All options are rubbish but that's insurance for you.
