Bought a new Yuassa battery back in February from the car accessory shop on most retail parks, it's gone flat a couple of times with a couple of cooler nights so i had it drop tested, showed as poor battery, charging system tested & all ok so took the battery back last week, bloke behind the counter gets out his equipment ( oh er ) which looked just like a multimeter with the Yuassa logo on it, connects it up & it's a good battery was his comment, no it's not, yes it is, no it's not & on & on, anyway he wasn't going to change it & i needed a battery quick so i bought another with a considerable discount, i carry the new battery out & he sends an assistant out with me carrying the old one, when we get outside the assistant says to me bring it back again next week so today i did take it back, different bloke behind the counter, didn't even check it just reimbursed me straight away.

I fall to peer pressure!
Not just kids working there, me being inexperienced at the time my 10 year old battery was on it's last legs barely holding a charge anymore. I go the Halfords website and use their web configuration looking for a suitable battery. Went to Halfords, battery changed, looks half the size of the original but seems to work fine for the next couple of weeks.
Took it back to Halfords to complain that battery keeps dying, so 'old' geezer working at Halfords (me thinking he's got plenty of experience) comes out to take a look at the car with his multimeter, takes a look and says my alternator was going.....
Took it to a specialist to take a look again, they said it's clearly the battery size and nothing wrong with the alternator.
Took it back to the SAME Halfords explaining the situation, and eventually got the battery replaced with a bigger one.
Can't trust anyone at Halfords, can't judge a book by it's cover!
