Hi guys!

I know a few of you have used H&R springs to lower the 8V S3, but I also know that H&R have made a few revisions to the spring that they offer for the car. I have seen quite a few cars with the 28826 springs... But thats about all I can find floating around.

Has anyone purchased and installed the 28810-1 springs?

These seem to be the most current part numbers.

Photos and some feedback would be awesome!!

Cheers

I'm interested too. From what I've heard, they are slightly stiffer and slightly lower [than the older springs], but would love to heard from someone who has had them fitted.

I fitted: 28826-2

I wouldnt personally want them any firmer or lower to be honest. I've clattered a few sleepers and big pots!

Is that in all driving modes or on the stiffer setting?
What sort of a drop did you end up with - do you have any photos by chance?

I've found the below exert from a H&R product release and to be honest it confuses me a bit... The way I interpret the info suggests that cars WITH the MRC sit higher from factory and therefore drop lower with the springs when compared to the cars WITHOUT the MRC...
Thats not the case - is it?

H&R components for the Audi S3

Sport springs, part number: 28810-1
Lowering with MRC/ Audi Drive Select: approx. 25 mm (front/rear axle)
Lowering without MRC/ Audi Drive Select: approx. 15 mm (front/rear axle)

28826-2 lowers by 20mm
28810-1 lowers by 15mm

Yeah i got photos, if you give me an email address i can mail them to you as domt seem to be able to post them from here (ipad) :-/

The label on the H&R box says:

28826-2
Automotive spring set for Audi A3/S3 + Sportback Quattro
type 8V
with MRC/ Audi Drive Select
only for multilink RA

My car doesnt have MRC and I dont thinknthe settings in ADS do anything to the ride anyway. They have lowered the car by 20 - 22mm as measured and if anything, the stance is a little **** up! i'd prefer another 10mm lower but could look too 'Kev' and ride awful!
