Another Stupid Rnse Question

Guys just quickly...

I've got 2 sd cards both 4gb that worked fine in my 08 prefacelift rnse... The 'cdtv' 1.. Now i've went out and bought the newer version rnse with the 'media' sdhc ports... However when I try put my sd cards in that worked on the previous unit i'm getting 'data corrupted constantly and unable to read...!

Are these new rnse's backwards compatable with standard sd cards!? I've formatted them both (one of which did not format so safe to say thats gubbed) formatted the other perfectly however, loaded a few simple songs to test and still getting the corrupt data issue...

As its a 2nd hand unit i want to test it all thoroughly and hit this final hurdle...

Any suggestions!?
 
The new units can use up to 32gb SDHC cards, maybe more not test myself.

Yeah I tried my old 4gb standard sd cards in it and they came up 'data corrupt' they were only removed a month n half ago from the old 1 working... Gona buy a new sdhc card tomorrow and test it out...
 
Dodgy SD cards can sometimes throw up this error.

Cheers mate... Cards were fine when I removed them from my old unit... But I bought 2x new sdhc cards today and all was good... New unit so wanted to make sure it was all working correctly :)
 
The old style sd cards don't work on the rnse mk2 :)
