I've been looking at buying a blow off valve for my 2.0t I know it won't increase performance or shiz, but I just love the sound, I will get a induction kit but in a few months when I've got the money this is for the one being I'm only 19 so I'm the right age to get one but I can't seem to find any information about where it is located? Searched high and low can't find any information init?!

Dont know about the 2.0t but my 2.0 TDI has a waste gate and when you put a cone filter on it you can here the waste gate going of kind of has the same effect

I think the problem with the blow of valve is i think that the turbo is spun us as the car is revved so you will just be losing performance because the turbo will have to re spool there is two types of turbo one is constantly spooled and one that builds up i cant think of there names

Just my two pence worth could be wrong

BOV's sound *****, just save for the intake and you'll end up with the wooshing noises as the air passes back through the filter.

Thing is though the car comes with a diverter valve which when the throttle body is shut it just pushes the pressing back to the air intake to save it from back spooling the turbo, all it does is basically push the air out to save the turbo life

Before drifting on the subject weather you like it not, I was only asking where it is located lads

the relocation valve is located on the turbo, and being 19 im guessing you have an A3 rather than an S3 lol.

You need to ram the car up and get some small hands in under the engine on the drivers side on the engine at the turbo, i have a blow off on mine, sounds **** compared to EVO's etc but its fun to have on lol.

Yeah a a3 that's why I said 2.0t, wouldn't say my car is something that it's not haha, but cheers that's the answer I was looking for I wasn't sure if it was located at the top or the bottom of the car, may I ask which one you have?

so are you fitting a spacer ?
