Every day for the last week or so, upon first start up of car, I am hearing 5 beeps... Does anyone out there have any ideas?? As yet I have not managed to work out where in the car it is coming from, but I think it might be in the boot??

The only thing that I can think of is the parking sensor. Though I'd have thought you'd recognise that sound, so it's probably not the answer.
