Braded Line Into K04 Turbo?

Hi, is there supposed to be a braded line with something attached to the end off it meant to be screwed into the turbo on a bam s3 8l it looks like some sort of sensor. Just want to check as it appears to have fallen out for there and want to be sure it is suppose to go back in there.

is it an oil or coolant line? I would have thought that if one of those popped off there would be fluid everywhere

Sounds like the exhaust gas temp sensor.

EGT sensor... goes into the hotside of the turbo... only on AMK/BAM engine codes though
