Armrest Repair Kit?

Just had a check over by Audi and my arm rest doesn't always engage, in fact it does it very rarely so I ever leave it when it does stay up and don't have the storage, or I accept it'll always be down.

They have quoted me £35 for the repair kit but imagine there's a fitting cost as well...

Any alternatives? Or how easy is it to fix myself?

Repair kits often have a guide with them. Worth asking, then you can do it yourself.

iv just binned all the metal parts from one as I only needed the leather lid
