, how are these 19" comfort wise, noisy? I can't decide which to choose,18"or 19" for my sportback, but a bit concerned about the noise withe a 30 or 35 profile when choosing the 19"

I've been running 19s for nearly 2 years now, comfort is fine as long as you stay away from potholes. The noise really depends on the tyres you pick. I have 35 profile tyres which is what's recommended with 19s, 30 is too low.
Thx, I thought that lower profile would give more noise, assuming you're driving on "the same tire". What tires are you using?

I have been running 225/35/19 avon ZZ3 which are fine for me. The newer ZZ5 is meant to be less noisy so I might try them out next time I change over tyres
would it be possible to run 235/35/19 tyres on a 19x8.5 rims on a 04 A3 FSI without any rubbing? also its lowered 30mm

im still completely torn on weather to get 18s or 19s, has anyone got a picture of 2 cars with the same alloys but one pic has 18s and one has 19s!! preferably both lowered!! big ask but im sure someone will have some

I was just wondering if someone would able to help me with some advise on fitting a set of alloys. I have a 2004 audi a3 2.0 fsi and have purchased a set of 19" alloys with 235/35/19 tyres. i have tried to fit them but they all seem to rub really badly. I assume i will need to space them off but i don't know what size they would need to be. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

they are 5x112 , et45 , 8.5 / 19s i want to know if these would fit a 2011 sportback and be ok lowered on H&R 35mm springs i want it to sit so the arches sit just above the tyres but nothing too low cause i dont want it to rub and also what tyre sizes would i require ? thanks

I think you will need about 8-10mm spacers + 225 or 215 tyres would also help
Yes they will fit no problem
The alloys you have linked are 9.5J ET 45, too wide imo. Front might poke, 215 tyres are a must, here is what 9.5J ET 40 looks like. 35mm springs might not be low enough, try 50mm they sit much better

Anybody on here had R36 wheels on a3? im thinking of getting 18's but think 19's would look better but wanted to ask if the ride comfortability is good, Ive got 16's at the moment and the ride is smooth and soft. Ofcourse wont get this with 19's but just wanted to get and understanding how rough it can be?

Hi guys, thinking of getting coilovers for my a3, was wondering if any photoshop wizards can lower my car on the current wheels, there not very nice wheels really but oh well, and what wheels would you recommend? Once lowered...
Hey guys wondering if some1 can help, just bought a set of 18" RS6 alloys, what I need to know is what size spacers would I need to get the flush look? I know I will require the longer bolts because of spacers also want to get it lowered so that the arches sit just about the tyres without rubbing, what mm lowering springs would I need, have been looking at Eibach Pro kit. Advice would be much appreciated, cheers J
