Callipers.......what Colur?

Just planning ahead here ,fitting new wheels soon and thinking of painting my callipers.
The car is a a4 avant b6 in silver with anthracite s4 alloys!

As the wheels will show quite a bit of the calliper whats your opinion on calliper colour???
 
Its very personal this but I like silver........a clean OEM look ;)
 
I did mine R32 blue, but I think silver will work better with the colour of your car, and behind the darker alloys.
 
Silver seems a popular choice here..........

I think silver calipers look like new when silver. With ur silver car i think black.
But mines silver too. And im debating doing mine gold
 
I don't know your car, can you post a pic please? for a silver car, I'd go for silver (sleek) or red (flashy).

A good caliper paint is Foliatec. I've not used it myself (I've bought a kit but not used it yet), but a friend and a bunch of guys on a Audi forum have and praise it.
 
No need for fancy expensive paints, hammerite is as good.

Well ive decided after a lot of visualising of the silver car with the anthracite alloys I will go green,i figure it will stand out but wont be too much:thumbs up:

Thats lime green mate:D I hadnt planned on that colour,its more like a skoda octavia vrs green:)

Im literally trying to do mine,not sure...iv moved away from gold,swaying to the blue calipers now

Well I ordered a smooth green hammerite which is similar to 'skoda green' that some of there calipers are painted but hammerite only do dark green now so im still looking.I also ordered some audi rings caliper decals which arrived today but they are too big to sit on the caliper!!:mad:

Pictures will be up on Saturday but not sure what shade of green the calipers will be:think:

Is it simple enough to take callipers off?
I know what u mean with decals,they need to be pretty small to fit on calliper

Yeh easy to remove them but I was going to paint in situ for ease.Done a few this way:thumbs up:

If it's too dark add a bit of white.
