I was tidying the garage last night and came across a gloss black Audi badge which i purchased a few years back for my old A4!...so I decided to put it on tonight to see what I thought!

Removed the plastic cover and got access fine! I will take some better pictures tomorrow but it looks much meaner :)

It's handy enough mate, just make sure you mark around the current one with tape to get the position correct! :)

Cheers Shane, I really like it now! :).. Few ones at work passed comment thought it was nice!lol.. Good to get comments!lol

Looks really good Shaun, any pics of the back? Would be cool if you get the chrome bits in your headlights done in black :)

Am I thinking of doing my badge black? Lol

Yea on the front or rear?.. Would go nice against the black!

Don't know lad quite like the chrome badges think it could be too much for a black car maybe

Subtle tint over your headlights would look mean as **** :)

Snaps of the rear one which I sprayed gloss black myself! :)

Flyeye for the front lights, and the rear if you want to do them too.
A tint may melt onto the lights mate.

Xenon lights run cooler than halogen lights and there's no heat off the LEDs so think he would be ok with the tint bud

Yes, but IMO the flyeye looks a lot better and the material is designed specially for lights so no hassle with it.

Thanks for the advice John/Aaron, it was just an idea on the list!

I've had a set of black badges for months now, today I got round to looking at front one, popped off the cover on top of radiator, still can't get to the back of the badge, the lock moulding is in the way. It seems to be part of a plastic grill that sits behind the grill you can see from the front.
Audi changed quite a bit on this B8.5
