Had my heldex fluid changed as recommended by Audi at 40k a few months ago.... When I had my car mapped by niki @ retch he told me I had a very small leak and to keep my eye on it :) (good lad) as Audi didn't say nothing ! I believe it's coming from the offside drive shaft, how do I go about topping it up and how do I know if it even needs it ? I will be getting the seal changed by Audi very soon but for now I just want to check the level. I've taken a pic of my heldex and seen there is x's on these bolts .... Am I right in thinking one will be drain and the other fill ?? The second pic is where it's leaking from. Any help will be appreciated :) cheers lads

If it's leaking from the driveshaft flange it will be diff oil not Haldex. The Xs are fill and drain and the fill hole is your level, this will be the same for the diff which is a 17mm hex most likely

Right lads it's the rear diff I need to check then as I know the haldex got unit got done with Audi few months ago but unsure if they did the diff.
