Pick Up A Mint 2001 S3 Tommorow.

Hi, been reading a lot on the site for a while, finally picking up my s3 tommorow so it was time to make an account
And say hi.

Car is 2001, i assume amk? Absolute red with white leather, absolutely mint with one owner 53k. I do have plans for the car but won't start opening my mouth untill it can be put in motion.

Hi all, thanks for the replys. The car is better than i imagined, its one of the cleanest cars iv seen. Will put plenty of pictures up soon but was late getting the car home so here's a quick one.

Hi everyone, still no photos of the car but treated myself to a few bits, got a k&n s2000 filter and a forge 007p. Really did make a big difference to the sound of the car, very throaty low down, deeper in the exhaust and there's a lovely woosh when i change gear :) I'm pretty sure the last diverter valve was 13years old :/

Got time to take a pic of the k&n gashness but not the car?!

As far as I'm aware K&N's don't fair well with the cars. Something to do with the oil on the filter. Will put the maf sensor out of order.

Thats quite a drive for me and I will have my first new born by then so doubt il make it. Will be at amd this month though :)
