Did Some Work On My Headlights This Last Weekend.

Do they light up or just a red stripe, tbh need to see from a slightly longer distance, but its subtle & looks ok.
 
The LED strips light up white as per normal.

I did paint the xenon shrouds red, so under certain conditions like driving towards a sunset/sunrise or with flash photography the lenses glow red.

My club is doing a photoshoot this weekend, so should have decent pics next week.

It's not difficult to open the lights at all, but its daunting as you need to pull quite hard on brittle pieces of plastic which threaten to snap. Nothing at all like B7 headlights in which all the pieces just slot into place; in the B8 parts clip in quite tightly and not in a logical manner, almost as if they don't want you messing with them

guys, I can supply a bulb/board that you can wire in if required, I know I have a set, let me dig them out and il get a picture up of the kit.

Just remember that any light that is not white or amber on the front of your car is illegal.
That is why I chose the passive method and the lights only reflect red. There is no active red light source in the lights!
