Just wondering if anybody has one of these

my question is does the sliding flap cover thing (Technical Term) shut if the cover is in the socket mine just came with nothing in it just the hole

also has anybody got the ashtray cup holders what are they like i tend to put my phone and keys in the cup holder but would like to get some of these for bits of money(change) so on

any help would be great thanks
 
Yea I have the aluminium cup holder mate, really handy for the change, plus looks nice also!..

Nah didn't come with the car unfortunately!.. I got the part number from an A3 in Audi showroom and kept an eye out for it!.. Audi is something like 40 quid for it, but I found mine on ebay brand new was bidding and got it for 14 quid!lol...

Cheers mate love it really is smart i think it makes that hole area look a million times better i dont have the MMI like you and always thought it looked abit plain down there but that makes it look so much better

There's one for sale in classifieds, I had a look at it but thought it maybe the wrong size, you could compare part numbers with the guy though.

I have the socket cover, bought from eBay, fits perfect doesn't foul the ashtray cover at all

I dropped a 1p coin into my socket and it blew the fuse, so it's a good idea to use a socket cover. Most of the time I have a phone charger in there...
