Amazing, The attention to detail is incredible. Stunning car with some equally stunning and impressive mods. As soon as I opened this thread and saw the spec list I knew I was in for a treat reading and looking at all the pictures.

Wrapped the door mirror casings a while ago in Avery conform black chrome vinyl wrap, but due to the complexity of the mirror casing shape had a few join lines which I never liked - found these brushed black chrome door mirrors which will go nicely with the HRE Performance Wheels brushed dark tint finish very nicely - am not going to rush to fit them as will get them sprayed in a clear lacquer to protect them first.

Nice touch, again, I like the attention to detail.

I looked around your car at Blyton afew weeks ago. Truly impressive to see such a well done car in the flesh.....err.....metal !?

Nice 1, really enjoyed reading through the build!!! Love the car mate!
Just one thing; wouldn't it be safe to hide your number plate as thiefs could easily find out your details through the reg!

Anyway thanks for the posts! Really really enjoyed it :)
After I had accident last week, now considering getting either S5 V6T/V8 or S3 Sportback...

But surely tempted to go for S5 :nyah:
Cheers

Quick question;

When upgrading the brakes, what additional coding did you have to do for the ABS etc?

Fantastic car and so jealous, you must have a well paid job or a drug dealer LOL

An update...

So car was due an annual service and MOT over at MRC Tuning on Saturday 20th June. Also needed a few other bits fixing, some rusty bits underneath and a crank seal leak.

Went out on the Thursday before to start it up and nothing. Had the joy (or otherwise) of watching three different car transporters attempt to get the car onto the transporter before one could do it (due to it being lowered).

Waved it bye bye and once MRC had checked it over it was just the crankshaft sensor after all that.

Anyway, since I replaced the front bumper (and now had the open RS5 fog grilles) I had wanted to move the air intake down to the front right so I kept it as far as possible from the main radiators. Always thought the default position for the intake scoop is a bad choice since when the car is at a standstill all that hot air just goes straight up the air intake.

Anyway, Doug and the guys moved the intake down to the front right and thought I'd share the photos he sent me...

Even with 8 week old fuel sat in the car the dyno run showed an increase of 11Nm and 4PS over the last one so I'll take that

A few changes before AITP7. Had this intake pipe sat in the garage for a while, finally got around to fitting it.

Also, finally added a little cosmetic touch I thought would be good for shows with some metallic silver and red vinyl lettering (For the keen eyed / OCD amongst you the word Coupe is missing an accent on the last e, so that needs to be added when I get around to it).
