hey pending a possible rebuild ive been reading up on rods and am leaning towards a set of chinese h section rods at half the price of ie rods, what sets should i avoid if any? i heard some have a flawed design at the piston end?
 
none of the cheap rods will have rifle drillings

the rest is a forum search away..
lots of rod debate to read

thats interesting and its pretty obvious rifled are the ones to go for.... are there any uk suppliers of brute rods?

ok... then i will just need a crank, rings, hg kit, water pump, cambelt kit, and bearings... urghhhh really hoping i havent spun a big end but im pretty sure i have now.... parts are gonna total 800 arnt they?
