Nearly bought this car..... Was only 2wd and wanted a quattro.... However, I liked the central rear wiper, is this easy enough to do?

No, I tried it during test drive..... Worked fine....

Still looks daft though. Same as removing the rear wiper altogether and painting over. Why do people do this? It's there for a very good reason and looks crap without it.

I think mine looks loads cleaner without the rear wiper, never used 1 anyway, the scratch ya rear glass loads

I take it you don't spend a lot of time driving in the rain on motorways, or care about what's behind you in those conditions? I like to keep an eye on my tailgaters as I dab the brakes. Believe me, I have had to come off the brakes again in an emergency many times due to seeing the idiot behind not leaving enough stopping gap and flying straight at me....

I've seen this on a couple now I didn't realise you can set it like that, I've just always assumed that their motor was faulty

I've seen a few and assumed it was a follow on of that boy racer fashion back in the 90's that copied Touring Cars. Because everyone back then would believe a little French shitbox driven by a spotty oik was in fact a factory touring car if it had a single stuck up wiper on the front... :thrashi:

You're right about scratching though- I must polish mine out sometime. A small price to pay IMHO for the safety aspect of seeing what's behind me. :p
