Recently bought some Subaru prodrive alloys for my a3 they are the same fitment but don't seem to fit for some reason any ideas don't have a clue when it comes to wheels lol

The centre bore will be different and the offset.

Subaru wheels have a very high offset usually 53, basically meaning they will touch the suspension strut as they will sit 20mm closer to the suspension.

You would have to fit some 20mm spacers to get the same offset as standard 8L, as well as appropriate spigot rings and boring the wheel centres out to make the centre bore match so they don't wobble and sit flush to the hubs.

In short, they're not going to be a cheap bolt on replacement and you could have bought wheels which fit "right" cheaper.

I believe the scooby wheels have thw wrong offset, typcally around ET48 - 50.

i'm fairly sure the centre bore is also different.

Prodrive P1 wheels are 53, the Prodrive wheels from the factory for things that aren't a Subaru are 43.

yep!!
subaru is 56.1
audi 57.1mm bore
you could buy a scooby and fit your audi wheels to it!!!

ummm. too easy!!
its only 1mm just lightly rub a bit of 800 grit round the inside bore a couple of times.
joking aside its a shame i think the p1 alloys would look good on the s3

Probably easier to start the car up, knock it into gear and use the hub flanges as a lathe.

Should have the job done in 5 minutes with some cutting paste.

;)

Don't forget to buy the jacket and cap to match. And a dustbin to make into an exhaust end can. 1mm isn't that much to take off. Keep the Audi sort the wheels
