Hi guys. I'm away from home in Basildon Essex. My car has started dumping air like a dump valve when I come off the throttle in boost. The car is a BAM and completely standard. Can anyone recommended a good garage for a service? Or anyone shed any light on my issue?

your car has a dump valve as standard , it may be worn and need replacing though if it sounds "flappy" like a rally car.

I've got a spare DV from my golf 1.8t which was fine when I removed it. I take it that it's the same DV as it looks like it.

i'm in rayleigh and south woodham ferrers if you want any codes read ?
all be it im in turkey at the moment but am back on the 6th

Cheers mate but I've got a diagnostics kit. I've not got a code for this particular problem but I do have one for knock sensor which I'm unsure on, I don't know where the knock sensor is!
