Bit of a plug......but if anyone is looking to buy a brand new genuine Audi chrome ashtray for their A3 (8V chassis), I've advertised one for sale in the classified forum.
 
I took the no smoking pack option, any one asked the dealer to chuck this in considering it should come with the car anyway?

Yep. Me did! And it arrived with the car in my goodie bag in the boot!

I don't disagree, but this isn't the case, as this item is only supplied if you order the smoking pack. If you spec the non-smoking option, you don't get the ashtray, but your dealer may supply one foc if you ask him, or he may supply one as a 'goodie'.....but this isn't always the case.

I dunno they aren't too happy with me, will see how it goes, a while off yet!

Sorry misread, yes your totally right.
