Forge 008 Dv

hi guys, ive just purchased a forge 008 dv, I've tried looking into the whole springs/shims and not understanding fully on what the shims are used for (haven't found much onto this)... I know it comes with a green spring installed, anyone know if I should swap this to a yellow once ive had my remap put on? it will be a stage 1 with badger5 v2.2 tip, hard deresonated boots pipe, and the forge 008. im going to be installing a boost gauge this weekend
