Hello guys, I just became a member, so please be kind
To start with, september 2013 I bought a 06' Audi 2.0TDI, Quattro with 108.000km on it.The car looked really nice, so I bought it! Didnt have anything wrong happening during the test drive either.
A week later, the stupid Turbo died, car went in emergency mode etc........
I called the prev owner, she said she had replaced the turbo 20.000km ago....wich was just incredible, why in the world would the turbo go out now then?
Well...turns out she hadn't changed the oil for about 70.000km...STUPID STUPID STUPID!
She did not tell me that, even though I asked several times I got the answer, I changed it last summer...
So I got a new turbo, and oil....but the car still behaved weird.
I will try to explain:
When the car is at running temperature, gearing from 1st-2nd gear, if I then only give it a small amount of throttle, the engine will sort of " Sneeze" and become jumpy for a small period of time. Like if it's not running right suddenly, continously cutting off, running, cutting off, running. It also happens a lot in 3rd gear, at low RPM's, at low accelerations, around 2000rpms. Sometimes even in 5th gear, when accelerating from low rpm's.
If I give it a lot of throttle in 2nd, or 3rd gear this will never happen, and it runs alright, until I change gear and it starts building up momentum from low rpm's. but only in the gears I mentioned...
I have changed the EGR, and cleaned it half a year later, cleaned the throttle body, and other parts.
NOTHING seems to help, and Im sooooo tired of this problem not going away. Im sort of allways waiting for it to happen when slowly accelerating...sometimes I just smash the throttle so it wont happen...
I have also changed the oil 3 times in under a year, tried engine flush as well.
The air filter is good, diesel filter is good, the air measuring thing right by the air filter is new as well.
So Im sort of loosing hope here...Maybe it's a injector?
I really cant come up with any more sollutions...except from something wrong with the vaccum hoses around the turbo...
Well, any tips or help will be HIGHLY appreciated guys =)
Best regards
