BW 51 & 52 the factory is in shutdown for Christmas

Thought I may as well start a thread for the remaining build weeks of 2014 :)

I've recently been given BW50 (Commencing 8th December) for our S3 saloon order

Anyone else?
 
Build week 46 for my RS5.
Will have had the S3 for one whole year by the time its replacement arrives.

Got to leave this thread now. Dealer just informed me my build has moved forward to week 43. So long suckers !

I am week 48, I think. Was told way later originally and is been brought back 10 weeks or so. There may still be movement and I think I will take delivery ASAP, was going to wait after 1st jan, but will take as soon it lands in Belfast. Thanks Santa!

P.s. Sepang s3 soft top in in Belfast showroom - it is lovely ( has red brake brakes and does look smart - but not changing spec any further.....
 
^ 2 weeks before me. Wonder if my build week will be brought foreword ...
 
It's now BW 47 - was chatting with sales guy today. Might be brought forward more, so aiming to sell my a4 in early/mid nov (as soon as mot passes)......

Might have to contact my dealer to see if there's any movement on my BW lol :)
 
Just had an email from my supplying Dealer

My build week has been moved foreword to BW48 :D

Just hope it keeps moving foreword ;)
 
Heard from the lease company today that apparently I've been allocated a build week of 46, meaning mid-December delivery :)
 
Justa had an email to confirm mine still at BW48 :(

Ha, that is some movement, I have just pinged my dealer mate.....will wait and see what latest is. If yours is 48 you will deffo have for Xmas. Woo hoo
 
My first post...

I just placed an order (about 10 days ago) for an S3 3 door, stronic in Sepang Blue. Not ticked too many boxes this time around, went for Audi Sound system, Comfort pack, Super Sports Seats & SD Nav. Currently been allocated BW46. Hopefully it'll be an early Christmas present to myself. :)

To say im beyond excited is an understatement, haven't had a car for 2.5 years!

I'm really struggling to not add anything extra to the car while waiting. I know I shouldn't really wish time away, but this can not come quick enough.

I said the same….. added pano roof! but removed Connect from tech pack - waste of time in my opinion and I am an IT geek :)

Just had a message from my dealer telling me my BW has come forward to 43. So I get to leave this thread. Suckers!

Of course this is still provisional and this comment will come back to bite me.

Just received email from my dealership with a provisional BW 7 for my new e-tron. I'm sure it stands a chance of advancing to a BW in 2014.....

Bw48, has jumped forward 7 weeks so happy days! Ordered the car on the 17th of August so I think thats good going.
 
Moved another week foreword to BW47 now for me :thumbs up:

Must be because I changed from the slower sepang blue to the faster misano red :D:D:D

I'm not planning on collecting it till 1st March 2015, will be interesting to see if they offer any 'incentives' for me to collect it when it arrives at the Dealer, mid December ;):D

I am thinking the same thing, although not sure it will arrive this a side of Xmas. Dealer says it will be touch and go. Also, I am negotiating on a cherished reg, which I will let you know if we can agree a price, but will match in nicely I think yet moveable to other cars in the future.
 
Still BW46 for me with delivery estimated four weeks later, so Dec 8th onwards.

Same as me Vertigo. Almost the same car and spec too. What dealer did you use?
 
Mine's a lease car so dealer wasn't my choice but it's actually being provided by Listers Coventry which is cool with me as it means I can collect it myself and it's the same group as my local dealer (Birmingham Audi)
 
After nagging and nagging Yasmin at Coventry, she's finally decided to let me know I have a build week of 45 for my lease car, which I ordered start of July, apparently due 28th Nov. Hopefully I will be working in Oxford the days prior so I can have a dealer hand over (never experienced) then drive the 8V back to Yorkshire. @Vertigo1 is your car through Inchcape?

Mine is Helifella, never been a fan of Inchcape as my Dad and I have had bad experiences using them but I've got a good deal and won't be using them to service the car so I'm happy. I'm also hoping that Maidstone will give me better service than Tonbridge, now T.Wells (both part of the Inchcape group).
