Been re-greasing some noisy ARB bushes.....JOY to have some quiet again!

Washed, clayed, Da'd, hoovered, blitzed the whole car over the weekend. Got the broken wires in my door loom fixed to end up only breaking the interior door handle in the process, so now need to source a replacement!!

Picked up a complete s line front bumper this afternoon for 95quid which I though was a good price and he threw in the glovebox latch for free aswell as I needed one which was a bonus :)

Today I've done ....nothing
But might wash it later and do the interior as the dog has been in today

That's a double DIN version! Do you know what they're worth!?

Strip a single DIN by all means, but double DIN are not easy to find, must be worth at least £75 in good condition.

I've got a double DIN in the cupboard somewhere, had a few of the buttons out of that ages ago....

Found out today the engine coolant sensor is ********, if I've got to go to the dealers to pick one up, it seems only logical to pick up an RS4 rarb at the same time...

Today I started the Joey mod. Think I'm doing it right, the black backing to the light looks pretty mullered at the moment, but i suppose it can be tidied up again.

Got out this afternoon in between it ******* down on me, and changed the coolant sensor, fitted RS4 rear anti roll bar & new rear shocks.
Definitely feels a lot flatter now and doesn't sit its backside down anymore when I pull its ears back...

Fitted a new NSF wheel bearing and upper arms on both sides. Wasn't as bad as I imagined it to be.

Thanks jake.well done with ur seats :)
They not a direct fit?
U gonna spill the beanz on what u bidded ;-)
That will be my last mod=seats. After rs4 arb.

Cheers, far as I know they don't come with runners so that'll take some adaption, plus I'm not sure if they have somewhere to mount seat belts but I'll get them all sorted and in somehow.

£300 brand new.

I did a mod to my caddy van years ago for after market seats...i went to a fabricators, got two 10mm steel plates, each around 60cm by 10cm,one each side, measured the existing holes onto plates, then measured what the new seat holes will be on the plates. They did the holes u screw into for the new seat holes.Did the job fine.
Wished id have painted the plates first thou

Ah nice, definately seems the right way to do it I'll probably do the same. Plus I'm glad you've said about painting as I would have left them if you hadn't said.

Picked her back up after clutch, flywheel, gearbox oil change and gearbox mount replacments
Drives like a new car. Smooth running and silky gear changes

Handed my garage the best part of £1k for MoT (passed!), two new tyres, cam belt change (with water pump and tensioner), rear brake pads, alternator belt, oil change, oil and air filters, 4 new plugs and anti-freeze. Ouch. Still, at 125,000 miles she still does what she's supposed to do and will now have to continue doing it for a few more years. Audi wanted £600 for the cam belt and pump job.

Bet it's smooth as butter now.
Funnily enough, it is - although I can't quite follow why it should be any better. Certainly new plugs always help any car, but when I last changed them 30k ago there was no noticeable difference. I do observe that the tensioner moves far less than the original, which suggests it was certainly worth changing. Interestingly, both Audi and my garage (and I trust them) said they didn't change t/stats or temp sensors as a matter of course.
