Hi

Ask the title says. Car is 2004 1.8t Quattro. Drove to work and back today and started 1st time. Drove to my parents house this afternoon and as I parked up the car cut off. Tried to start and would start and then splutter and switch off. Thought I'd leave it for a bit but same thing. Had a look to see if I can hear the fuel pump prime but can't hear anything and previously used to buzz and click. So it can either be a fuel pump or relay? Any help ppl would be appreciated. Without a car at the moment

Mine did the start and splutter off about a year ago, scanned it and it was the throttle body, replaced and all good

Get it scanned first though because the throttle body was £400~

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
I don't have access to VAGCOM. Was waiting for a mechanic mate to come out and scan it but he's been too busy. Anyone in the Bradford area with VAG who can lend a hand????

Update...
Got my car back earlier today. Was the fuel pump, also had the coolant flange replaced. Car drives better than before. Has more of a kick to it . Thanks for your help :thumbs up:
