Morning All,

Well, where do I start, after being inspired by many other build threads on here, I thought I'd start my own, as my Avant is very much a work in progress.

The car in question is my 2010 B8 Avant 2.0TDI S-Line, photo's below...

Some wide wheels like 20*10 or 19*10 with a low ET :)
Its my suggestion.. Very nice car and huge potential to be an RS4! :))

Very true, Its on my list of things to do, really keen on the Raywell JRR's in Hyper Silver, but not for another few months when funds allow.

Any other suggestions on which wheels?

Fitted...

Really pleased with the results, the stance is much more improved & aggressive than before.

They look really good mate, I'll be ordering the same sizes after my wheels are re-furb'd in the next week or so.
Cheers for the info.

John G.

Few more pics, post spacer fit.

Another little present from DPM Performance, hope fully getting fitted in the next few weeks.

A few more things ticked off the list..

This arrived in the post yesterday, Genuine Audi Coin & Gum Holder.

Then decided to debadge the rear.

Another parcel courtesy of Royal Mail - MTEC Black Edition Rear Discs & Mintex Pads, at least they'll match the fronts now!!

Eibach Pro Springs & MTEC Black Edition Rear Discs & Mintex Pads fitted today (at last!).

The Eibach's are sitting a little high for my liking, but hoping they will settle down over the next few days.

Pleased with the MTEC Rear Discs (now they match the front) just need to paint the rear calipers later this week.

Photo's to come tomorrow, after a good wash!

Afternoon All,

It's been a few weeks, update, now lowered on Eibach Pro's, fitted OSIR pedal covers & D-Trim yesterday, Autostyle S-Line mats.

Due to cracking recent weather, thought I'd share a few pics I took last night at work.

Pics to come, once I figure how to upload them again!!

Enjoy.

Looking really nice and very well done (Sensibly).

Wish I had the use of your errrr "Workshop" very nice too.

I might get it dirty though and I don't think that would be allowed.

Jim

Evening Jim,

Thanks for the comments, I'm really pleased with it.

Few more things to do though, front bumper is getting resprayed in a couple of weeks, after some f#####r clipped me in a car park!

Whilst it's in, getting my RS4 grill (black gloss) fitted, fog light surrounds & lower splitter sprayed in gloss black (match the grill) still toying with getting the mirror covers done in gloss black, but can't decide, what you think?

Thanks again, Gaz.

Thanks Jim,

What's your thoughts on changing the rear spoiler for RS4 style? & gloss black mirrors?

I'm always keen to get other people opinions.

Cheers.

Not sure about the gloss mirrors, but certainly the RS5 rear spoiler would look perfect.

The torque on a 2.0ltr diesel is fantastic, taking into account at the end if the day it's still a 2.0ltr, must be a great drive and surprise quite a few other cars.

RS5 rear spoiler?

The difference with the REVO remap is night & day IMHO.

Just re-read your comments Jim, I'm very fortunate to get the use of our "workshop/aircraft hangar!"

Plenty of space/lighting/heated, happy days!!

Update, finally got the car in yesterday into G&W Bodyworks, Lincoln, for front bumper respray, fog light surrounds & lower splitter respray in gloss black & RS4 grille fit.

Hopefully getting the car back early next week, pics coming soon!

Morning All,

So it's been a few weeks since the RS4 Grille was fitted, really pleased with how it looks, with the Gloss Black Fogs & Lower Lip Spoiler, however been looking at the Dynamik Lip Spoiler with Blade, what's people thoughts on these? Thoughts on it on my motor? Or Alternatives?

Cheers.....

Still plenty to do..

Caliper re-paint in anodized red, with S-Line decals hopefully in the next week or so.

Pictures of the interior once it's had a good clean!

Mate, where did you get the boot lip protector? Looks nice and subtle.

Take a look at my photo postings - we've basically been doing the same mods to the same motor at the same time. I've got all the chrome blacked out as well.

Morning,

From what I remember it was off eBay, I don't think it cost much, it just a strip of carbon fibre effect vinyl.

You got a link to your car/build/pics etc...

Will have a look. Is it a smooth protector or textured?

Don't have a build thread myself as I'd done all the mods by the time the idea popped in to my head! Here's a few pics though:

Looks spot on mate, the lip protector has a textured effect.

How much was it to get the window surrounds & rails done?
