Hi Guys,

I've been searching the forums but can't find any solid infomation on the following two things -

Adding Aux in
Installing an Amp/Sub

These need to be installed into an A6 (C6) Pre-facelift, Avant, with MMI 2g High and Bose speakers/amp.

Can someone point me in the right direction or let me know if they have experience with this?

Thanks
Alex

hmmm appreciate the link but don't think that thread helps much. I know the speaker cabling using fibre optics but there must be an easier way of adding a sub/amp to the setup? I've seen it somewhere before but can't remember for the life of me where it was.

The guys down a Celcus Ice in Dorset have a show car A6 Avant, exactly the same as mine. I might get in touch with those guys and see how they did it.

Will report back my findings but in the mean time, anyone else got any clues?

Thanks

Everyone one looks for a cheap option but when your dealing with the MMI system nothing is cheap. The mObridge solution is the cheapest I've seen, and I'm sure if it's a show car then again there won't be any cheap solutions installed, but good luck with your search, would be interesting to see if there are any other options.

Jeewhizz! That mObridge kit looks spot on but it's so expensive!

I have done my A8 which has MMI 2G high.
It is a long process and needs to be done properly and is not cheap. I used an Audison bit 1 processor to flatten out the signal from the bose amp and then send the signal to my other amps for my components and sub.I did something similar to this but I built my sub into the spare wheel flipped over.

For Aux in I used a Dension gateway AMI which gives me Aux, Ipod and USB. But if you only want aux in you will get thison the bit one any way together with optical in and telephone in etc.All of these lines can be seperately EQ'd
