Hi All

With the Passat gone (Which Mrs B hated). We have gained a 2012 A4 Avant 2.0 tdi Sline. High miles but quite tidy.

As suspected the Passat went in better condition than the Avant arrived. On arrival i cleaned the engine bay, debadged it & gave it a general clean

This week ive managed to fit an RS grille & get the DAS6 out & after 5 hours cleaning it looks half respectable.Its had a service at Awesome & they have given it the all OK.

Quite chuffed to have 2 Audis on the drive.

Lovely looking car mate and i like the black and white thing you have going there looks smart
 
Ye Poorboys for me aswell bit of black hole and white diamond does the job
 
Car looks fantastic. The grill finishes it off nicely!
Awesome job on detailing it, all the hard work has payed off ;)
 
Any chance of a link to seller or advert mate as hopefully found to get. 2013 a4 on Saturday and this is first

OK i,m nearly there.

RS4 Grill fitted, rear wiper delete, Wind deflectors & now some new genuine black edition 19 inch wheels in mint condition.

Looks miles better than the 18s

Just need to sort the rusty brake calipers now you are showing them off so much. Peoples eyes tend to be drawn to nice wheels and it's a shame for a big blob of rust to spoil the view.
If you can find a set of S4 / S5 brakes they come from the factory lacquered black and you will end up with bigger brakes all round to fill some of the hole you have now. Have a look at my build thread they are plug and play.

Much better.. Did you spray your crash bar black When fitting grill?
 
Yeah ill get round to sorting out the calipers when I've got a spare 5 mins.
I painted the crash bar with gloss smoothrite as it tends to stick to the ally quite well

How will adding the wheels affect your warranty?

As in if gearbox went they COULD claim the wheels aren't from the car so that's possibly the cause of the box failure

I'm about to pick my avant up Saturday so am in 2 minda what to do ragards mods

Hi,
Good looking car. Can I ask which wind deflectors that are? Have you got folding mirrors, if so do they touch the deflectors when folded?

Heko wind deflectors on eBay.
Yeah they do touch when folding completely but I just leave them
A bit from full closed. I got the from eBay and seller from German for £27 posted and took 3 days
 
Yes they are Heko. Only touch very very slightly
I don't fold the mirrors anyway. Only makes them think they have more room to smash their door into mine
